The Studio has finally amplified.

After almost a half a decade of footing (pretty much) everything for the Studio by myself, I finally decided to begin searching for help in 2020. As soon as I announced that I was looking for help, the pandemic literally changed the world, and my search came to a quick, screeching halt. During that pandemic, the Studio’s trajectory changed drastically, and the change forced me to revamp virtually every facet of the Studio in its entirety. It was during the brunt of the pandemic that the Studio’s social media presence grew by leaps and bounds amassing over ten thousand new followers and subscribers every few days on multiple platforms at that time.

After 2021, I knew that I had something in my hands that was getting too big for me to handle alone, but I was still stubborn and afraid to search for a team to help me manage the Studio’s quick and massive impact. At the end of 2021, I began writing job descriptions for the positions and people that I wanted on the Studio’s team and for months and months, I sat on these descriptions while the Studio began to grow even more. Once my family and close friends (fondly) twisted my arm enough, I decided to officially begin searching for help… again.

When this reignited search began in August of 2022, I had high hopes and sent up several prayers to find someone to help make the Studio even better, and I think the Studio has found that person.

Please welcome the Studio’s new Administrative Associate, Jamil Hairston.

He is a well-rounded administrative and marketing professional, community leader, and artist with a diverse, eclectic background that will be an asset to the Studio. Not to mention he’s an amazing pop artist in his own right. He regularly performs at the world-famous Rock & Roll Hall of Fame under the name JAMPOP. To read more about him, just click here.

I am beyond elated to have him on board and I know that he will certainly be a huge help to the Studio in ensuring that your experiences with the Studio will be the best they can be from every angle.
